Moving a houseload of furniture out of town and only a car or light truck licence? Why not consider one of our light trucks plus a trailer (yours or ours) - carry as much as a larger truck without the need for a special licence! Tow bars are standard equipment on all of our 2 and 4 tonne trucks.

My driver's licence says that I can drive a truck up to 4.5 tonne but the information above says that I can only drive a 2 tonner. Why?
a.gif (235 bytes) The 4.5 tonne figure given on your licence refers to the vehicles' gross vehicle mass (GVM), not its nominal payload-refer to our section on drivers licence classes  for a fuller explanation.

Do you have trucks with tailgate loaders?

Are there differences between furniture trucks from different rental firms?
a.gif (235 bytes) Yes - compare!
All of our trucks feature:
  • economical diesel engines
  • power steering
  • air conditioning
rn2.gif (510 bytes) No retread tyres to let go - we only fit new steel belted radial tyres.
rn3.gif (504 bytes) Sloped fronts to our bodies reduces drag and fuel consumption, and are less vulnerable to damage than fibreglass add ons.
Fully enclosed and LOCKABLE metal bodies. Some competitors run vinyl sided "curtain sider" bodies - great for loading pallets through the sides, but not for carrying furniture! Easily damaged, easily broken into.
We fit tow bars to our 2 and 4 tonne trucks (excluding those fitted with tailgate loaders) - take your trailer, boat or caravan with you!
