Which is best - a loading ramp or a tailgate loader?

All of our furniture trucks (including those with tailgate loaders) are fitted with slide out loading ramps – makes loading and unloading a breeze!

For extra heavy lifts we do have available trucks with hydraulic tailgate loaders HOWEVER if simply moving household effects there is no doubt that the slide out loading ramp is by far the quickest and most efficient medium to load and unload.

Trucks fitted with tailgate loaders are unsuitable for travelling over dirt roads with dips and gullies as the mechanism is mounted quite low at the back of the vehicle and is very prone to damage in this situation.

Warning: Hydraulic tailgate loaders are a powered device and can cause serious injury if used incorrectly.

Always:

• Familiarise yourself with the operating instructions before using
• Stand clear when operating
• Remove the control cable when not in use, especially if kiddies are about
• Never place any part of your body under the lifting platform, or between the truck and the platform.
