Unlimited travelwhere offered applies to vehicle use within a 200 kilometre radius of the originating depot - if travelling from Townsville to Cairns and return or Cairns to Townsville and returna 2 day minimum hire applies (unlimited kilometres to a single round trip). Travel to other centres POA.

Strong but frugal 2.5 litre turbo inter-cooled diesel engine, dual air-conditioning, power steering, power front windows, AM/FM radio / CD player, central locking, towbar, high roof comfort. Seats 12 (including driver), with seat belts for all.

Note:If carrying a lot of luggage and / or sporting equipment please be aware that the Toyota Commuter bus has no luggage space behind the rear seats. We do have luggage trailers available (at extra cost), or alternatively our Ford Transit 12 seat buses below offer substantial storage space (and a more more powerful engine).

Exclusive to Meteor!Our ARV models include the following upgrades to permit running over regularly graded well maintained dirt roads with mild dips and crests:

  • higher ground clearance
  • radiator / engine / transmission guards

  • improved fuel filter with water trap
  • our standard Loss & Damage cover permits off sealed road use (full particulars available upon request)

Features include a 3.0L turbo intercooled diesel engine, 5 speed manual transmission, dual unit airconditioning, power steer, AM/FM radio / CD player, centre console, dual air bags, Black Duck canvas seat covers, towbar and bullbar - seating for 12 (driver + 11 passengers), with seat belts throughout.

Standard safety equipment fitted: amber beacon, reversing alarm, fire extinguisher.

Towing capacity: braked trailers - 1,000kg; unbraked trailers - 400kg.

MITSUBISHI ROSA 'DELUXE'

The Mitsubishi Rosa features 25 high back seats, all fitted with lap/sash seatbeltsfor your safety. The side windows are tinted, and airconditioning is ducted full length down each side of the cabin.

Motivation is provided by a powerful 3.9L turbo intercooled diesel, with the choice of 6 speed manual or automatic transmissions.

Other features include power steering, exhaust brake, radio / cassette and PA system, automatic side door, and towbar.

LUGGAGE TRAILER

The Toyota Commutor and Coaster buses and the Mitsubishi Rosa all have minimal luggage space. For out of town over - night trips we recommend that one of our fully enclosed and lockable trailers (you supply the padlock) be made use of in conjunction with these buses.
